a few months ago i got to sit in on an amazing teaching by Zach Neese at Gateway Church. he talked about the manifest presence of God and how God inhabits the praises of His people. he said he looked at many translations in many languages of the word inhabit. he liked the Japanese definition the best. in Japanese that translates to giving God the “big chair”, the seat of honor. in essence when we enthrone God on the seat of honor, then the river of living water flows from that throne and His presence in manifested.
well that happened last night at Preston Trail Community Church. what an amazing service. it started with some amazing praise to our God. there was a great baptism time. more singing and then they had set up stations. there was a station where you could write a message to God, a station where you could take communion, a station where you could confess by writing on a piece of paper and nailing it to a cross, a station where you could offer up a prayer for someone else, and a station where you could be prayed for. it was an awesome night of healing for many people who were there. and i believe God was enthroned. He was given as Zach called it, “the Papa chair”, the seat of honor. kudos to the team at PTCC for being obedient, daring, and willing. i’m really thankful that God brought Warren Jacobs into my life. his love of the Lord and his humility as he leads is a true blessing to me. if you are looking for a church, you should try Preston Trail.
have a great day
